Floating Clock ("the App") is developed by Valeriya Pekar ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

The Short Version

Floating Clock does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create in the app — your saved cities, countdown events, and timer settings — stays on your device and never leaves it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect no personal information whatsoever.

The App does not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Your name, email address, or any contact information
  • Your location
  • Your usage data or analytics
  • Device identifiers
  • Crash reports sent to our servers
  • Any information about you or your device

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only, using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage:

This data is not backed up to iCloud and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

3. Dynamic Island & Live Activities

The App uses Apple's ActivityKit framework to display timers, countdowns, and world clock times in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen via Live Activities. This feature is handled entirely by Apple's operating system. No data is sent to our servers as part of this feature.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. There are no third-party services that receive your data.

5. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected, the App is safe for all ages.

6. Data Security

Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of your personal information being exposed through our systems. All App data remains on your device, protected by iOS's built-in security.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
