1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading or using Sightline ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License Grant We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Sightline for personal or professional creative use on Apple-branded products that you own.

3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

  • Payments: All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store.

  • Pro Features: Certain features (Floating Window, Unlimited Imports, Palette Export) require a one-time purchase or active subscription.

  • Refunds: All refund requests must be handled directly through Apple Support. Sightline does not have the authority to issue refunds.

4. User Content Sightline allows you to import images. You retain all rights to your images. Sightline does not claim ownership of any content you import. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use any reference images you import.

5. Intellectual Property The Sightline name, logo, code, and design are the exclusive property of [Your Name/Studio Name]. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

6. Limitation of Liability Sightline is provided "as is." We are not liable for any data loss, artistic errors, or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.

7. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of [Your Country/State].


2. Privacy Policy (Required by Apple)

Apple will reject your app if you don't have this. Since Sightline is a "Privacy-First" tool, this is your strongest selling point.

Privacy Policy for Sightline

1. Data Collection Sightline is designed to be fully private.

  • Your Images: All images you import remain locally on your device. We do not upload, see, or store your reference images on any external servers.

  • Your Colors: Color palette extraction happens entirely on-device using Apple’s local frameworks.

2. Analytics We may collect anonymous technical data (e.g., device type, crash reports) to help us improve the App. This data is not linked to your identity.

3. Third-Party Services

  • App Store: We use Apple’s StoreKit for purchases. Apple may collect data as governed by their own privacy policy.

4. Data Deletion To delete all data associated with Sightline, simply delete the App from your device.
